We gathered at LHR meeting up with old friends, those we had met earlier in the year at Malvern or new faces. The Virgin flight, catering and films were all excellent. On our arrival at SFO there were our American organisers and team. Successfully shepherded to the bus we were joined by Andrew Duncan a former Brit who had flown up from Columbia, S Carolina
Checked in at Holiday Inn, Fisherman’s Wharf and after the Reception in the adjacent suite, drinks regalia and paperwork, we dined down on the Wharf and then to bed.
